Snow and Shoveling

I know it's been almost two weeks since I last posted, but here is the first of several new posts for you today!!

We had quite the snow storm about 2 weeks ago. I strapped Ophelia in the baby carrier and headed out into about 6 inches of new powdery snow. I put the hood up on the carrier and after a minute or two of looking around, she went right to sleep with puggy (that's a pacifier) firmly in mouth.

After shoveling for an hour, Ophelia decided that she had had just about enough sleep, thank you very much.

Anyway, this is what our house, driveway, and walks look like cleaned up of all the snow and surrounded by giant snow banks. Since then, we've had about 3 more storms and the snowbanks have grown a bit.

Oh - and yes - to answer that burning question, I do shovel for my neighbor as well. No, she's not geriatric or laid up with back pain. I'm just being neighborly, that's all. Plus - shoveling is good exercise!
