HTML Tip Tuesday

This may or may not be a regular posting. Probably not. But I fiddle with my HTML at least once a week, so it's entirely possible for this to be a regular item.

HTML TIP
Add Numbering to Your Comments

Today I was thinking that it would be nice to have a number associated each one of my comments. You know, to make it easy to find the one that wins a giveaway. Because who wants to go through the trouble of counting posts by hand and getting fingerprints on your monitor.

I'd love to be able to tell you that I did the research and figured it all out on my own, but since others already have it figured out, there was no need to do all that work! YAY! Follow this link to Mom Nerd: THIS LINK. She explains how to add the two little snippets of code in a very easy to follow 8 Step process. If you can Save Template, Find, Copy, Paste, Find, Copy, Paste, Preview you too can have numbering on your comments.

Happy HTML Editing.

:( Didn't work for me, but I also don't have the coding that I was supposed to find. Crazy strange. Oh well!

Did you click the 'Expand Widgets' check box? That code is inside one of the widgets. So if you don't expand it, you won't be able to find it when you search.

You can leave comments on your blog, so you should have the comment widget code in there somewhere.
