Peter Rabbit Organics: Organic Fruit Snack Review and Giveaway!

PETER RABBIT ORGANICS
Organic Fruit Pouches
Product Review and Giveaway

I'm always on the look out for healthy, convenient snacks for my daughters. They both really love fresh fruit, which is an excellent healthy snack choice - and one that we often take, but it isn't always convenient to have a juicy, sticky toddler or baby as a result of handing out actual pieces of fruit. The new Peter Rabbit Organics Organic Fruit Pouches are just the solution for when we need a healthy snack without the mess.

The Organic Fruit pouches come in three incredibly delicious fruit combinations: Mango, Banana, and Orange; Apple and Grape; and Strawberry and Banana. We received one of each flavor to try out. The fruit is all organic and the pouches contain nothing but fruit - yes, that is 100% organic fruit. No preservatives. No additives. No sugar. No water.  There is nothing artificial. Each pouch contains a full serving of fruit. Just pure organic fruit. The texture is thick and smooth, much like a puree.

The pouch itself is quite the item as well! It's a convenient, squeezable 3.5 ounce pouch, so you don't need a spoon or a straw to eat it. The anti-swallow cap is replaceable, so you can save any unused portion. The pouch itself is small and spill proof, so I can toss it in my bag without worrying about it breaking or coming open and getting all over everything. It's also BPA free, so I don't have to worry that chemicals are leaching into the fruit. And Peter Rabbit is prominent, right on the front. The first thing my almost 3 year old said when she saw them was, "There's Peter! He has fruit!" She loves Peter Rabbit - and so she was eager to try this new snack.

The first one we tried was the Apple and Grape. I'm not sure what Ophelia was expecting, but I think the texture was not what she thought it might be, so she immediately spit out the first mouthful. But then her eyes lit up and she said, "That tastes good!" And proceeded to eat the entire pouch! She didn't spill a drop, not even when she tossed the empty pouch onto the floor of my car. The second pouch she agreed to share with her sister. We have never spoon fed Rowan any pureed fruit, so again, the texture was strange to her at first, but after that first taste she couldn't get it fast enough!

Info about the company from their website "We like to call our little office in London the 'burrow'. Here our desks are made from old doors with poles screwed onto them for legs - our namesake Peter Rabbit lived in a burrow so we would feel a bit extravagant sitting on posh leather chairs at shiny marble desks!!"
